糖心原创vlog begins work at £50m Jaguar Land Rover Halewood plant
The Halewood plant was initially opened by Ford in 1963 and earlier this year JLR announced that it was set to become its first all-electric production facility.
The project will see us build a 350,000 sq ft unit close to the company鈥檚 existing plant in Knowsley, allowing JLR to expand storage and production capacity for its Body in White operations, a stage of car production relating to the welding together of the frame.
"I am proud to announce we are accelerating our electrification path, making one of our UK plants and our next-generation medium-size luxury SUV architecture fully electric. This investment enables us to deliver to our modern luxury electric future, developing new skills, and reaffirming our commitment to be carbon net zero by 2039."
Adrian Mardell, Chief Executive Officer
This project builds on our high-tech manufacturing sector experience, combining specialisms in pre-development and facilities integration, and uniting with clients to deliver on their goals.
Our experience includes projects for the UK鈥檚 creative industry, rapidly-evolving datacentres, and the reimagining of car production facilities through to world-class battery production - an end to end partner for the UK鈥檚 automotive and renewable energy industries in the journey to net zero.
